Bury A Friend ASL - Best Experimental Short - Los Angeles Independent Film Festival

Director Rick Wayne premiered his American Sign Language experimental video for Billie Eilish’s “Bury A Friend” at the 1904 Deaf Film Festival. 

"Reflecting on the project, Rick said, “The story is a culmination of nightmares brought to life. Creating art from fears, love and loss can be a cathartic experience — this is the result of confronting my subconscious.”

The chilling interpretation of the Billie Eilish song recently won acclaim from the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival Awards, where it won for Best Experimental Short.
